The objectives are
- Promote active eco-citizenship among young people for social entrepreneurship, climate innovation at the community level.
- Promote quality youth work through knowledge in the use of digital storytelling and design thinking for youth to address community environmental issues.
- Increase intersectoral and transnational cooperation in this area.
- Adopt a participatory action research methodology for the co-creation of project tools and resources.
Project outputs
YouthIES will enhance youth social entrepreneurship skills for environmental innovation through community-based interventions and use digital storytelling and design thinking pedagogies to improve the quality of youth workers’ work. It is expected that youth will be better able to become long-term change agents for social entrepreneurship projects related to climate innovation, as they will have the tools and experience to carry out community-based interventions.
During its 24-month lifetime
It is an exciting project that empowers young people and professionals in the business and environmental fields. Through the identification of key environmental issues and the creation of innovative educational resources, such as the Vlog Box and Training Pack, we seek to inspire and empower youth to make a positive impact on our environment.
